The Handball family
Our flagship programme in Accra is more than sport — it's a lifeline. Young people from challenging backgrounds are brought together through handball, learning discipline, respect, teamwork, and perseverance.
Through structured mentorship and partnerships with Ghana's security services, participants are actively prepared for real career opportunities:
Supporting access to formal education and vocational training
Preparing youth for careers in law enforcement
Opening pathways into the correctional service
Building discipline and fitness for military service
Volunteers & FSJ for Schools
Nestled in the lush green hills of Ghana's Eastern Region, Aboa is a peaceful community of around 500 residents. Just a 10-minute drive from Koforidua, the capital of the Eastern Region, and about 1.5 hours from Accra, Aboa offers a retreat far from the noise and hustle of the big city.
In the heart of the community, we are building a Volunteer House for six volunteers, equipped with balconies and a pool, set against the spectacular mountain landscape. Directly across the road is a school in urgent need of support.
Dedicated volunteers supporting classroom education on-site
Sustainable water supply for the community
Creating jobs and economic independence for the community
Providing nutritious meals to all handball programme participants after every training session — fuelling both body and mind.
Connecting youth with mentors from Ghana Police, Prison Service, and Armed Forces to build career readiness and discipline.
